Information:
In my opinion, asides from the PC ports, the Saturn versions of Biohazard are quite possibly one of the best classic console versions of this iconic title. In addition to being rendered totally different, the models have much more to them, you can make out better facial details, and the system boasts a higher colour palette - ensuring any return to the PSX titles makes you think your game looks dull in comparison. The engine as a whole runs faster, and the controls were neatened and tightened for this version to cater for the fact the Saturn's D-Pad was much more fluid in movement than the PSX's at the time. One of the major failings that this version has is transparency was a lot more difficult to code on the Saturn, and it's very obvious looking at the water in the Vacant Lot basement along with the slowdown it hits wading into it.

The English version is exactly what it says on the box: english. There were no real changes made from the JP version at all. It is a total shelf hog, though, due to that lovely tall box the english Saturn games had.
