Director's Cut, a game released to help bridge the gap between the release of Biohazard 2 and the original after 1.5 was canned 65% of the way in. Director's Cut brought about the uncut colour footage of the infamous live action opening, and saw the addition of an arrange mode which featured new outfits, new routes and enemy placements, and items being in totally new zones. Add into it some new camera angles and some other mechanical tweaking and you've got a fairly well rounded game.

Arrange mode is pretty awesome, and is a nice way of rehashing the game again with a new twist. It also came with a special preview trial disc for Biohazard 2, the first demo for the game ever publicly issued, and first demo since 1.5 was canned officially.
