Information:
Complete, or Kanzenban as it's known in the JP scene, only saw a Dreamcast release in Japan which makes it a really unique entry. In addition to the extra nine minutes of cutscenes, primarily focusing on Wesker, some cutscenes in general were rejigged compared to the base release. Steve also had his mode1 updated to make him look less like Leonardo DiCaprio.

While it clearly was the basis of the western releases from the PS2 onwards down to them having it hold an edgier title to differentiate it from the base Dreamcast release, there are still some functions to Kanzenban which are only available on this Dreamcast release. Battle Game, for example, is available from the get-go without requiring an unlock. There also is a Very Easy difficulty option which gives you the unlimited ammo Rocket Launcher as standard.
