Information:
The soundtrack to Outbreak is something utterly wondrous with its sweeping orchestral opening, subtle series flashbacks via leitmotifs and even full on arrangements, and a recurring melody for the series that defined it as its own. It also was the first title in the series to feature actual orchestral music from a live studio, with other series titles relying on synths and samples alone.

The soundtrack for Outbreak is notoriously hard to find — if found with its slipcase and obi it often calls for a very high price. It also was very heavily bootlegged on places like eBay, making official releases even rarer again due to the saturation of the bootlegs. New Years auction sale perusing saw me nab this after 5+ years of actively hunting for a copy that was actually under $150 for a change (and $50 was a steal for me, honestly!)

The soundtrack only covers tracks from the first Outbreak game, with none of File 2's tracks seeing official OST release.
