The really interesting thing with the C・NOVELS publications is that one of the best and well known Biohazard fan artist at the time was asked to do the cover work. In addition to a front and back cover, the slip jacket inner wings have unique art, and the book features profile shots of all the major characters present in the book. The artist in question is Wolfina, who painted the covers digitally using Corel Painter.

Wolfina has been working on Biohazard art basically since the games first came out, and still does Biohazard art to this day which is posted on their Pixiv account.
