ORIGIN BEACH - An ECCO THE DOLPHIN Collection Site

♢ Latest Update: 10th of February, 2026
Still working away on all those photos. First VHS of the collection has been digitised and is now archived online both here and on YouTube—which I now have an official Origin Beach channel for the site there! Presently just has the SEGA Software Line Up tape on there, but any other VHS and Ecco oddities I find and add will be preserved there too. As the weather here finally breaks from sweltering heat, I hope to take the time to find my desk and get back into the scanning groove—not only new scans I've yet to do, but finishing scans such as the B2 Japanese store poster for the archive.

Currently processing 300+ photos for the site. I'm by no means a perfect photographer but I do eneavour to do my best. Still working on filling in some back-end info for items but it's all coming together finally. Once I've got photos sorted the scanning will recommence which is the archiving I'm most excited for with the series. I've also got some VHS digitisation going on right now which I can't wait to share once I get the masters back.

As it stands the only section I really don't have up in any basic form which I have items for is the comics section—I have all issues of UK StC which had the Ecco story printed in them, a really sweet gift from Johnny when we he was moving into other projects, but I am missing a single pages in some issues as they had posters or adverts previous owners pulled out on their backing pages, so I'm in the process of confirming which ones I need to reacquire so proper archival scans of that series can be made. Getting there!
